Hi, I’m Susannah.I’m a Master Hypopressive Coach, movement educator, and pelvic health specialist with over 20 years of experience in the movement industry. My work focuses on helping people reconnect with their bodies through intelligent movement, breath mechanics, and a whole-body approach to pelvic health.Pelvic health is often treated as something isolated to a small group of muscles. In reality, the pelvic floor works in relationship with the breath, ribcage, fascia, posture, nervous system, and the way the entire body manages pressure and movement. My work is dedicated to helping people understand and restore this connection so the body can function with greater strength, ease, and resilience.

My Journey into Pelvic Health

I have been teaching movement for more than 20 years however, my journey into pelvic health began 11 years ago. Following the birth of my first child I experienced severe birth injuries. That experience led me to begin asking deeper questions about recovery and rehabilitation, and why pelvic health support is so often overlooked or underserved.Determined to better understand the body and help others navigating similar challenges, I went on to complete extensive further training and worked alongside a wide range of professionals within the movement and pelvic health field.During this time I discovered the Hypopressive Method, a system of breath and postural work designed to help restore healthy pressure management within the body and support pelvic floor function. I went on to complete every level of training available within the discipline.Today, I am proud to be part of the UK Hypopressive Council, working as a Master Trainer and Teacher Trainer, educating and supporting other movement professionals to bring this work into their own teaching.

What Makes Movement for Pelvic Health Different

Many pelvic floor programmes focus on only one modality of exercise.Movement for Pelvic Health takes a broader, more integrated approach. The platform incorporates multiple movement methods to support the body as a whole system.Inside the membership we work with a combination of:

  • Hypopressives to improve breath mechanics and pressure management

  • Fascial release to restore mobility and reduce unnecessary tension

  • Strength and conditioning training designed to support pelvic health safely

  • Yoga to improve movement quality, mobility, and body awareness

By combining these different modalities, the body is supported from multiple angles, helping to restore balance, strength, and coordination throughout the entire system. This integrated approach allows you to rebuild confidence in your body and return to movement without fear or uncertainty about your pelvic health.

My Mission

Pelvic floor dysfunction is one of the biggest barriers to exercise and good health facing women today. When I experienced my own pelvic floor injury after giving birth to my Son, I was met with limited information, inadequate support, and advice that left me feeling scared of my own body. That experience transformed into my life's mission: to change how we approach pelvic health.

Ten years ago, I was a fitness professional struggling with a prolapsed uterus and bladder. The standard advice was simple: "Just do your Kegels" or "Take it easy with exercise." As someone who had spent their entire life in movement – from professional dance to yoga to CrossFit – this wasn't enough. I knew there had to be a better way.

That journey led me to discover, heal, and now share a comprehensive approach to pelvic health that honours the whole body and the whole person. Every woman deserves to:

  • Feel confident in their body

  • Move without fear

  • Understand their healing journey

  • Access clear and empowering information

  • Return to the activities they love

  • Feel supported and understood

What My Clients Say

"Susannah has completely transformed my relationship with exercise. I feel stronger than ever despite having had 3 babies in less than 5 years. Her knowledge about movement during pregnancy and how to heal post partum is world class. She is the most incredible teacher I have ever worked with for mind, body and soul. Her positive energy is infectious and I always feel like a new person after our sessions."

The Future of Pelvic Health

I am making it my personal mission to:

  • Remove barriers to exercise for women with pelvic floor dysfunction

  • Challenge outdated approaches to pelvic health

  • Provide education that empowers

  • Create safe spaces for healing and discussion

  • Share knowledge that transforms lives

When I started this journey, information about pelvic health had to be dug out of the cracks. Today, we're finally starting to talk about these issues openly, but there's still so much work to be done. I envision a future where:

  • Women don't suffer in silence

  • Pelvic health education is readily available

  • Movement is celebrated, not feared

  • Recovery is understood as a full-body journey

  • Every woman knows she's not alone

Together, we can transform how women experience and understand their bodies, creating a new standard for pelvic health care that honours our strength, resilience, and potential for healing.

Why This Matters

Pelvic floor dysfunction is one of the biggest barriers to exercise and good health in women today. Traditional approaches often leave women feeling:

  • Scared of their bodies

  • Restricted in movement

  • Stuck with limited options

  • Disconnected from their physical potential

My approach helps you:

  • Understand your body's full potential

  • Move with confidence again

  • Address root causes, not just symptoms

  • Build a sustainable practice for long-term health

  • Return to activities you love

This approach is particularly effective for women who:

  • Haven't seen results from traditional Kegel-focused methods

  • Want to understand the bigger picture of their pelvic health

  • Are looking to return to exercise or movement they love

  • Need a more holistic approach to healing

  • Are seeking long-term solutions rather than quick fixes

The Result

By addressing pelvic health as a full-body experience and considering the crucial role of the nervous system, my clients experience:

  • Improved body awareness and control

  • Greater confidence in movement

  • Better understanding of their body's signals

  • Sustainable healing strategies

  • Return to activities they love

  • Reduced symptoms and improved quality of life

Remember: Pelvic health is no longer just a squeeze and release practice. We know so much more now! It's a fully embodied journey that benefits every area of our lives.
